 THE 2ND YEAR OF KLICF 2016 SET CLOSED! AND ASEPHI TRADE MISSION DELEGATES HAVE BEEN RETURNED HOME SAFELY WITH SOME WORKS TO DO! A WORK FOR NEW LINK, A PROJECT FOR NEW CUSTOMERS, AND A PROGRAMME FOR SOME BUSINESS OFFERS DURING THE MISSION ARE READY FOR PREPARATION IN THE COMING 2017.

FOLLOWING TO THE SUCCESS OF ASEPHI TRADE MISSION TO KL WHICH HAS INSPIRED ALL THE PARTICIPANTS, SECRETARIAT ASEPHI HAS ARRANGED ANOTHER TRADE MISSION IN 2017. 

ASEPHI’ SMEsPRENEURS  EXPLORE EUROPE. THE TRADE MISSION  MAIN OBJECTIVE  IS TO JOIN “L’ARTIGIANO” IN FIERA MILAN , ITALY , on  DECEMBER 2017, AND FACT FINDING TO NEARBY COUNTRIES .

The 2nd Kuala Lumpur International Craft Festival (KLICF) 2016 is organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia through its agency Kraftangan Malaysia is to promote and showcase unique craft products and designs from all over the world.

The objective is to promote the uniqueness of craft products from Asia and ASEAN, Europe, Africa, America, Oceania and including Malaysia.

ASEPHI came along with 24 SMEs companies, 1 product demonstrator from Sumba and a group of dancers from North Sumatra to participates in four days festival with Batak dances. Four days festival reached retail transaction for ASEPHI’s booths for RM. 267,427 and one member, i.e. Alkhair Pearls from Lombok signed contract for 2 franchises stores in Kuala Lumpur with Malaysian Businesswoman , and Lets Travel and Positivism, a unique scarf brand successfully having a n offer for partnership to sell the products to London.

Meanwhile, ASEPHI Secretariat has also arranged some fruitful meeting with our mutual association; MGPA to arrange a new programme as a continuation of KLIGP in PWTC which is moved to new venue in KLCC namely Malaysia Gift Fair for the first time in 2017, and a business project with MARA, finally ASEPHI also considered to have serious discussion about an offer to have small display counters for its members in Port Klang Harbour managed by Cruises Port Klang Management where hustle and bustle of international cruises stop by along the voyage around the world and hunting for simple and unique craftsmanship products from ASIA, particularly from Indonesia.

THE TRADE MISSION PROGRAM HAS SUCCESSFULLY INSPIRED ALL THE DELEGATES FOR HAVING MUTUAL BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP NOT ONLY WITH THEIR LOCAL PARTNER INTERNALLY BUT ALSO THEY HAVE COME UP WITH NEW CREATIVITY WITH ALL THE PARTICIPANTS FROM OTHERS COUNTRIES FOR THE BUSINESS PLAN NEXT YEAR.
