Crafina 2017 “From Natural Resources to Creative Product for Lifestyle“

The Indonesian creative industry has made significant progress, becoming one of the largest foreign exchange suppliers to the national economy. This industry is enough to attract many economic actors to start exploring prospects. Indonesia, as a country with rich natural resources and human resources and with a promising market both at home and abroad, is a special attraction for creative actors to continue to develop their creativity and product innovation. Of course, with the support of local government assisted by the central government, through the program and policies of creative economy, continue to socialize to the community to love and use Indonesian products, especially handicraft products.
The CRAFINA exhibition is now being held for the 10th time in Jakarta. CRAFINA exhibition exhibits superior handicraft-based products that are available and produced by producers and craftsmen from all over Indonesia. The exhibition, initiated by the Association of Indonesian Handicraft Exporters and Producers (ASEPHI) with Mediatama Binakreasi, will spoil the stakeholders of the Indonesian handicraft industry with the showcase of superior products as the trendsetter of Nusantara craft. With the theme “From Natural Resources to Creative Product for Lifestyle”, this exhibition will showcase the best handicraft products of domestic offerings, including superior fashion products including Batik, weaving, Songket, and other handmade products such as accessories, jewelry, others.
Utilization and use of handicraft products is now a trend of lifestyle of developing countries in the world is no exception in Indonesia. For this year, CRAFINA will be held on 11 – 15 October 2017 at JCC, Senayan. More than 400 Indonesian handicraft companies occupy 380 booths in Main Lobby, Plenary Hall and Assambly Hall. With the number of participants shows that SMEs craft Indonesia has been able to grow and independent and able to compete with other countries. During this exhibition targeted retail transactions and trade contacts CRAFINA this year reached 19 billion rupiah, and the number of visitors reached 35,000 visitors.
Visitors and buyers from home and abroad are expected to find quality handicraft products to meet the needs in accordance with the development needs of the community, without forgetting the aspects of environmental sustainability and sustainable production processes. Therefore, through CRAFINA 2017 it is expected that craft industry players will continue to develop new ideas, creations, and innovations so as to produce exclusive handicraft products with high selling value in the international market so that later handicraft industry can be used as the economic support of the people who will always continue to grow and develop in the future.
The holding of this year’s CRAFINA exhibition will be enlivened by various exciting events such as Interior Design talkshow and Fashion Trend 2018, workshops, acoustic music entertainment from Beilys Acoustic (October 12, 2017), Yeshua Abraham (13 October 2017), and the performance of Minangkabau Fashion Heritage (14 & October 15, 2017)
Due to the condition of Bung Karno area renovation area (GBK), then at this time there are 3 (three) access door to JCC, that is:
1. Door 5 – Jl. Jend. Sudirman (located near Sultan Hotel)
2. Door 6A – Jl. Jend. Gatot Subroto (located near Transjakarta Stop “Senayan JCC”)
3. Door 6B – Jl. Youth Gate (located beside the fly over Taman Ria)

JCC also provides additional parking space located at Sudirman Executive Club (enter from Jend Sudirman) and at Lagoon Garden (entering from Sultan Hotel, Gatot Subroto).
